This means that the hotel will form part of the Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts portfolio until 2036 at least. An extensive renovation programme has also been agreed with the building’s owner Internos Global Investors. Renovation works will bring the hotel up to the enhanced standards that now apply following the further development of Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts.
Jargen von Massow, vice president, Steigenberger Business Hotels, said, “The Steigenberger Hotel Conti Hansa in Kiel has been part of our portfolio for almost three decades. We are therefore particularly pleased that the agreement will be extended for a further period of almost 20 years and that the hotel will soon feature a resplendent new look.”
