Thessaloniki Thessaloniki

Qatar Airways Adds Thessaloniki to Global Network

Aiming to respond to passengers demand, Qatar Airways has unveiled plans to launch four weekly flights to Thessaloniki, effective from March 27, 2018.

Marking the airline’s second destination in Greece, Thessaloniki is well-known for its many archaeological sites and historic structures, including its well-preserved Byzantine mosaics and walls.

The new service between Doha and Thessaloniki will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring 12 seats in business class and 132 seats in economy class.

The carrier currently operates three daily flights to Athens, Greece’s capital and largest city, and provides more than 4,000 seats to Athens each week.

With the addition of Thessaloniki, this will increase to more than 5,000 seats per week.
