According to preliminary data provided by representatives of Bukovel, a ski resort, reported in the Ivano-Frankivsk regional state administration, the number of tourists to the Carpathian mountainous region of Ukraine increased from 1.5 million to two million this winter season.

Worth noting, the flow of tourists to Verkhovyna, Kosivsky and Dolinsky districts had also significantly increased.

The Carpathian Mountains span 1,500km across Central and Eastern Europe, stretching west from the Czech Republic to eastern Romania.
