Brussels Airlines and Thomas Cook Intensify Collaboration

Following the positive decision of Belgian Competition Authority, Brussels Airlines and Thomas Cook Belgium are able to proceed with transfer of assets agreed as a part of partnership agreement.

According to the contract, the Belgian carrier is set to become the main airline partner of the travel services provider, which also entails transfer of 160 crew members, the airport slots and two aircraft of Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium.

Thanks to the competition authority’s permission, Brussels Airlines is able to request the airport slots, in line with the goal to commence and intensify the collaboration as of October, which will see the enhancement of the companies’ destination networks and flight frequencies, among other benefits.
