Alexander Lukashenko, president, Belarus, instructed to set up a children’s science park in Belarus by September 01, 2018, as he spoke at the second Congress of Scientists of Belarus on December 13.

Lukashenko believes the time has come to bring youth outreach activities to a new level. The most talented teachers and professors should be brought together to work with the younger generations as part of high-technology scientific platforms.

“If we need to build a children’s science park with the participation of Belarus’ leading universities, let us do this. Maybe, we should even build a whole lot of parks at the universities that would like to do this. I instruct the Education Ministry to handle this task together with the Academy of Sciences, oblast executive committees,[…].”noted Lukashenko.
