Norbert Stiekema has assumed the position of chief strategy and digital officer for Costa Cruises.

Stiekema will have the main task of promoting the development of new digital technologies and new business models and solutions. Working closely with the company’s president and the heads of the various business units, Stiekema will support them in defining the medium- and long-term business strategy, providing a detailed analysis of market trends and technology developments. Stiekema will also have the task of following the horizontal strategic initiatives, which focus on innovative transformation and the creation of long-term demand.
